GREENVILLE, S.C. – Following a successful October in the pool, Kennice Greene has been named as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month presented by Athletic Solutions, league officials announced Friday afternoon.
 
Greene started the month at the EU Invite where she placed third in the 200-yard Freestyle with a time of  1:59.02, took top honors in the 50-yard Freestyle with a mark of 24.05, won the 100-yard Butterfly in 58.45 and swam the third leg of the 200-yard Freestyle Relay team that beat out the competition as well. 
 
The Biabour, St. Vincent and The Grenadines native closed out the month in grand fashion at the UNCP Quad Meet where she placed second in the 100-yard Freestyle, won the 50-yard Backstroke and 50-yard Freestyle, while swimming the anchor leg of the 400-yard Freestyle Relay team that placed first as well. 
 
Greene logged an NCAA B Standard time in the 50-yard Freestyle with a time of 23.58, while also claiming the Sue Walsh Swimming Pool facility record in the event. The newcomer also added a Sue Walsh Swimming Pool facility record in the 50-yard Backstroke to go along with school record in the event.
