MATCH REPLAY
SET 1 I 25-20 The first set began with the Braves establishing an early lead, highlighted by Abby Peduzzi's kill, and then would extend their advantage to 3-0 with a service ace from Brette Doile and a block by Addie Decker and McKenna Hayes. Chowan managed to cut the deficit to 6-3 following a kill by Alauna Wilson-Linn, but consistent play allowed the Braves to maintain a comfortable margin. McKenna Hayes closed out the set with a decisive kill.
SET 2 I 26-24 In the second set, UNC Pembroke edged Chowan 26-24 in a tightly contested battle. The Hawks initially took an early lead, capitalizing on several attack errors from the Braves, including a block by Lyniah Lee. UNCP responded with a series of kills by McKenna Hayes and Abby Peduzzi to close the gap. A service ace by Tyler Patterson tied the game at 24-24, and a subsequent bad set by Chowan gave the Braves the lead. Savannah Whaley sealed the set with a decisive kill securing the 26-24 victory.
SET 3 I 26-28 In a tightly contested third set, the Hawks edged out the Braves with a 28-26 victory. The set featured multiple lead changes and notable performances, including Abby Peduzzi, who consistently found success with kills. Chowan's Madison Henderson was pivotal, delivering crucial kills. Despite a service ace by Brette Doile that helped the Braves even the score at 22 apiece, Chowan's resilience and a series of key plays allowed them to secure the set in the extended play.

Addie Decker opened the scoring, and Abby Peduzzi contributed significantly with multiple kills, including a service ace.
