GREENVILLE, S.C. – After playing a key role in helping the UNC Pembroke women's basketball team to a pair of victories last week, Anastasia Sinclair has been named as the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week presented by ConferenceCarolinasTravel.com, league officials announced Monday afternoon. 
 
A native of Charlotte, Sinclair averaged 16.0 points, 6.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals last week. The sophomore started the week with a game-high 17 points against Chowan where she went 5-for-7 from the field and pulled down four rebounds, had a trio of assists and two steals in 38 minutes of work. 
 
Sinclair closed out her week with 15 points at Southern Wesleyan on a 6-for-10 clip from the field, and nearly recorded a double-double with nine assists. She also tallied five rebounds, three steals and two blocks in 33 minutes. 
 
Sinclair leads the Braves averaging 11.7 points per game and is shooting 45.5 percent from the field. She has scored in double-figures in 17 games this, including the last four contests.
