MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Norman Junker set a new outdoor school record in the 3000m and brought home his second event title of the weekend, while Antony Kigen posted a new personal best to take a runner-up finish to highlight action on the final day of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.

Junker crossed in a record-breaking time of 8:30.47 to take first place, while Kigen took second in the 5000m with a time of 15:05.58. 

On the men's side, Antoine King took third in the discus with a mark of 46.51m, Cole Thomas finished third in the pole vault at 4.40m, while the 4x400m relay team of Jaedon Kearney, Braylon Brooks, Calen McKinney, and Sean Townes also took third with a time of 3:18.81.

On the women's side, Comfort Agwu post a personal-best mark of 38.23m in the discus to take third place, while the 4x400m relay team of Katie-Marie Sherlock, Ashlyn Turner, McKylee Mosby, and Ta'Niyah Glaspie took third with a time of 4:07.99.

All told, the two squads combined to set 13 new personal bests at the event.

The Braves will be back in action Thursday, March 27 for the Raleigh Relays, before heading to the Davidson Invitational on March 29.
