LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Good news continued for Isi Etute on Friday when he was named as one of 18 finalists for the Cliff Harris Award presented by Wright, Lindsey & Jennings LLP and Little Rock Touchdown Club. 

The Cliff Harris Award recognizes the top small college defensive player in the country in NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. This award highlights exceptional talent and contributions to the game by athletes who have made a significant impact on their teams. This award is generously sponsored by the firm Wright, Lindsey & Jennings LLP, one of the premiere law firms in the nation for over 100 years. 
 
Etute was tabbed 2^nd team D2 CCA all-region after being named as the Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year. Etute finished the season leading Conference Carolinas in tackles for loss yards with 15. The redshirt junior also was atop the league standing in sacks with five. Etute had12 solo tackles for a loss of yards, while finishing the season with 50 total tackles, 28 of which were solo tackles. 
 
Etute ranks 20th in the nation for tackles for loss yards.

The winner of the prestigious Cliff Harris Award will be announced on Monday, January 19.
