GREENVILLE, S.C. — Eight goals in October helped lead the way for Willow Price to be named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Freshman of the Month, presented by Athletic Solutions, league officials announced Friday.

Price racked up eight goals and three assists in October, including back-to-back braces in wins over Ferrum and Francis Marion. The Greenville native also tallied two assists to go along with her brace against Ferrum for a season-high six points. Price has logged two separate three-match scoring streaks this season and was also named the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year following the regular season.

Price and the top-seeded Braves will play for the Conference Carolinas Tournament championship Saturday, November 7 as they battle second-seeded Francis Marion. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at the Truist Soccer Complex at Bryan Park.
