GREENVILLE, S.C. - After logging a trio of individual victories on Saturday against Emmanuel, senior Britta Schwengle has been named the Conference Carolinas Swimmer of the Week presented by Athletic Solutions, league officials announced Wednesday. 

A native of Savaneta, Aruba, Schwengle took top honors in the 1000-yard Freestyle with a time of 10:23.21 while breaking the Sue Walsh Swimming Pool facility record in the event. The senior also broke the Sue Walsh Swimming Pool facility record in the 500-yard Freestyle event while placing first with a time of 5:05.11. Schwengle capped off her individual events winning the 100-yard Backstroke touching the wall in a time of 59.08.

Schwengle swam the third leg of the 200-yard Freestyle Relay team that shattered the Sue Walsh Swimming Pool Facility record with a time of 1:35.75 to beat out the competition.
