Baseball Drops Doubleheader To No. 4 North Greenville

PEMBROKE – UNC Pembroke mustered just ten hits and four runs across both ends of the doubleheader, as No. 4 North Greenville swept the day by scores of 7-2 and 4-2 to complete the series sweep over the Braves Saturday at Sammy Cox Field.

Jackson Crute homered in the opener, while Landon Lucas homered for the third time in the series in the series finale.

The Braves (26-14, 16-11 CC) fell to 3-16 all-time against the Trailblazers (36-7, 23-4 CC).

The Black & Gold will be back in action Tuesday, April 14 as they head to Hartsville, S.C. to take on Coker. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Tom J. New Field.

BOT 1 UNC Pembroke jumped ahead first on a Landon Lucas solo blast.
TOP 7 NGU tied the score at 2-2 on Jan Pospisil's RBI single, and took the lead for good on a Josh Foulks RBI infield single to make it 3-2.
