PEMBROKE – Chloe Locklear added another postseason award to her resume on Monday afternoon when the redshirt junior was named to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region team.  

The announcement marks 11th season that the Black & Gold has had a student-athlete honored on the D2CCA All-Region team. However, Locklear is the first student-athlete to pick up the nod since 2022. 

Locklear becomes the first player since 2021 to earn all-region honors from two organizations. 
  
A product of Purnell Swett High School, Locklear picked up second-team all-region honors after hitting .368 on the season. A native of Pembroke, Locklear started in all 46 games and drove in 48 runs. The redshirt junior added six doubles, a pair of triples and 10 homers during the season, while registering 195 defensive putouts this season.
