Athletics Renews Four Sponsorships For 2026-27

August 4, 2026

PEMBROKE – Officials at the University of North Carolina Pembroke announced on Thursday the renewal of four sponsorships - Farm Bureau, Jersey Mike's, McDonald's (Chapman Family Enterprises), and Lumberton Visitors Bureau, for the 2026-27 athletic season.

Farm Bureau will serve as the presenting partner for football's Military Appreciation Night on August 27. As part of the sponsorship, Farm Bureau will have signage at football, baseball and on the videoboard at Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court, while also having a commercial on the UNCP Sports Network. "We are excited to renew our partnership with UNC Pembroke Athletics," said Jordan Sampson, Agency Manager. "This partnership reflects our commitment to investing in the students, athletes and staff who continue to make us proud year after year. By working together, we hope to help provide opportunities that allow student-athletes to succeed in competition, in the classroom and in life. NC Farm Bureau shares many of the same core value principles and will continue to enjoy cheering on the Braves for years to come."

Jersey Mike's will offer a 10% discount for students, faculty, and staff with a UNCP ID. The company will also have signage at baseball while also having videoboard presence at Grace P. Johnson Stadium and Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court. Jersey Mike's will also have a commercial on the UNCP Sports Network. "As the new owners of Jersey Mike's Subs in Pembroke, we are proud to continue our partnership with UNC Pembroke Athletics," said Daniel Terracciano of Page Grace Investments, LLC. "We believe every store in our growing organization should remain deeply rooted in the community it serves, and supporting UNCP is an important part of that commitment. With our move to a new space at the A.S. Thomas Building later this summer, we're reaffirming our investment in Pembroke by creating a more welcoming space for our guests while continuing to support the university, our customers, and the community for years to come."

McDonald's will continue to serve as the presenting partner for Moonlight Madness in October. McDonald's will sponsor two t-shirt tosses per game for football, women's basketball and men's basketball. They will have signage at football, baseball, and Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court, while also having a logo presence on UNCPBraves.com.
"Our partnership with UNC Pembroke Athletics represents more than sponsorship—it's an investment in our local community and the future of its student-athletes," said Chapman Family Enterprises DBA McDonald's. "We're honored to support an organization that shares our values of teamwork, leadership, and excellence. We are excited to continue this partnership and cheer on the Braves in the seasons ahead."

Lumberton Visitors Bureau will have logo placement on all sports schedule posters and logo placement on UNCPBraves.com. Lumberton Visitors Bureau will have a commercial on the UNCP Sports Network and videoboard presence at Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court. "We are excited to partner with UNCP Athletics once again to help bring potential travelers to the Lumberton area," said Angela Sumner, Lumberton Visitors Bureau Executive Director. "The Lumberton Tourism Development Authority board feels very strongly about the importance of sports tourism and the potential economic impact, especially youth sports.  The bureau markets our community to potential travelers from 50 plus miles away to help generate overnight stays to our 23 hotels, 100+ restaurants, shopping, and attractions.  UNCP draws visitors to the area through athletic events, family visits, meetings, conferences, graduations and other events and we are happy to collaborate with them on all of these. Sports tourism at UNCP is more than competition—it's a way to bring people together, showcase BraveNation pride, and create lasting economic and community impact for Pembroke, Lumberton, and the region."
