2009 (JUNIOR): Played in two games for UNCP … Caught one pass for six yards against Webber International and rushed the ball two times for two yards at Frostburg State.

2008 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in the Edward Waters game for the Braves, catching one pass for three yards.

2007 (FRESHMAN): Did not see varsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at South View High School for his father, Randy Ledford … Caught nine passes for 93 yards and a touchdown as a prep senior in helping to lead the Tigers to a 9-2 record and a conference title … As a junior, was a part of a 15-1 South View squad that captured the conference and area titles en route to an appearance in the state championship game … Was also an all-conference standout in baseball at South View.

PERSONAL: The son of Margret and Randy Ledford was born on Dec. 10, 1987 … Has two older brothers, Bradley and Bryan … Both parents are graduates of UNCP … Father was an all-American baseball player for the Braves … Maintained a 3.7 cumulative grade point average at South View and graduated in the top 20 percent of his class … A sports medicine major at UNCP.
