HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Purnell Swett High School for coach Mark Heil … Accounted for 2,207 yards (2,100 passing yards, 107 rushing yards) and 25 touchdowns as a prep senior in leading the Rams to a state playoff appearance … Captured second consecutive all-county and all-conference laurels, while also finishing as runner-up for conference player of the year honors … Earned team most valuable player accolades as a senior after capturing offensive player of the year honors as a junior … Passed for 1,010 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior and led Purnell Swett to a 7-6 record and a state playoff appearance … Also earned all-conference and all-county honors in baseball for the Rams.
