HIGH SCHOOL: An all-county and all-conference selection at West Rowan High School for coach Scott Young … Amassed 96 tackles (50 solo), 16 sacks, three fumble recoveries and one touchdown as a prep senior in leading Falcons to a 15-1 record and the state championship … Earned his first all-county and all-conference laurels, while also taking home WRHS’s most valuable lineman award … Recorded 20 solo tackles and nine sacks as a junior in pacing West Rowan to a 12-2 mark and a spot in the state playoffs … Also excelled on West Rowan’s track team, while also compiling a 32-5 record as a prep senior as a member of the Falcon wrestling team … An all-county and all-conference selection in wrestling as well, finishing second in the county while earning team MVP laurels.
