HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Scotland High School for coach Richard Bailey … Finished his prep career with a 17-1 record as starting quarterback for the Fighting Scots … Earned coaches award recognition as a senior after throwing for 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns on 80-for-110 passing with just one interception … Also rushed for 710 yards (86 carries) and five additional scores … Threw for 318 yards and five touchdowns on 24-for-40 passing as a junior … Also rushed for 151 yards (29 carries) and two scores … Was also an all-conference performer in track & field at Scotland High School.
