HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time all-area and all-conference standout for coach Brett Chappell at East Henderson High School … Threw for 2,166 yards and 25 touchdowns (3 INT) as a senior, while also rushing 90 times for 776 yards and 17 additional scores … Named conference's co-player of the year and helped lead the Eagles to an 11-2 record and their second conference title in the last three years … Took top honors at the SCVarsity.com QB1 Quarterback Challenge and recorded a time of 4.65 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the 2012 Shrine Bown Combine … Established new East Henderson High School records for career passing yards (5,465), career passing touchdowns and single season passing touchdowns.
