AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2017): Played in all 10 games … Registered 25 tackles (19 solo) and a forced fumble … Turned in multiple tackles against eight opponents, including a season-best four stops (2 solo) at Mars Hill … Tallied two solo tackles, a pass break-up and a forced fumble at Elizabeth City State … Recorded a season-high three solo tackles in consecutive games with Wingate, Concord and Lenoir-Rhyne … Also returned two kickoffs for 25 yards at Wingate.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Redshirted. Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Crest High School for coach Will Clark … Earned all-conference laurels as a senior after tallying 58 tackles and seven interceptions … Also forced one fumble, recovered another and turned in a pair of pass break-ups … Helped lead Chargers to a perfect 16-0 record for the second-straight season, as well as their second-straight state title … Was also an all-conference performer in track & field for Crest.

PERSONAL: The son of Shanay Ramseur and Dandre Hopper … Has three brothers – Dorian, Elijah and Christian – and four sisters – Aleesjah, Gwen, Jasia and Zoe … Maintained a 3.8 cumulative grade point average at Crest High School … A sports communications major at UNCP.
