SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The 18^th-ranked UNC Pembroke wrestling team tacked up a trio of pins and won two other matches via forfeit on the way to a 46-4 rout of Spartanburg Methodist on Thursday evening inside SMC's Bridges Arena.
 
Eric Milks (157 pounds), Joey DiMartino (174) and Makenna Cook (197) all registered wins via pin on the evening for UNCP (1-2), but the rout was fueled by two other bonus-point wins by the Braves, including Brandon Sloop's 23-8 technical fall at 165 pounds. Jayquon McEntyre (125) and Landon Mumford (184) both picked up wins by forfeit.
 
Spartanburg Methodist (1-5), which is ranked No. 18 in the latest National Junior College Association of America (NJCAA) poll, picked up their only points of the night thanks to Marvin Galette's major decision at 133 pounds.
 
The Braves will be back in action again on Tuesday when they make the short trip to Laurinburg to lock arms with St. Andrews (1-6) as part of the "War On I-74" rivalry. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Harris Court.
