th time in the last 17 games and used a quartet of multiple-run frames to finish off a series-opening doubleheader sweep of Coker with a 16-1 victory over the Cobras on Saturday afternoon at Sammy Cox Field.
The result marked the 12
th-straight victory for the Braves (33-11) who have now captured 17 of their last 19 outings since March 19. The Cobras (22-20), who lugged a three-game win streak into the weekend, have now dropped six of the last seven matchups with the Black & Gold.
Stibel Aleman Saba homered twice and drove in five runs on a perfect 5-for-5 day at the plate, while
Roberto Rivera doubled, homered and scored three times on a 3-for-4 hitting line. Three other players chipped in a pair of hits for the hosts as well. Bryson Conner singled twice on three trips to the plate to lead Coker.
Kyle Boraski (5-2) won for the fifth time in his last six starts after scattering four hits and a lone earned run over six quality innings from the hill. He also struck out four. Forrest Arnold (5-3) yielded six hits and four earned runs in just two innings of work to take the loss for the Cobras.

UNCP and Coker will close out a rare four-game series on Sunday when they square off in a series-closing doubleheader at Tom J. New Field. First pitch is scheduled for 10 a.m.
