GREENWOOD, S.C. – The 40
th-ranked UNC Pembroke baseball team forged a 4-1 lead on
Brennen Hogan's RBI groundout in the top of the fourth inning, but Lander tacked up six runs in the bottom of the frame to storm ahead for good and completed a weekend sweep of the Braves with a 12-8 win on Sunday at Dolny Stadium.
The setback capped off a seven-game road trip for the Braves (6-7, 1-5 PBC) who will open up a four-game home stand on Wednesday against Wingate. The triumph marked the third-straight win for the Bearcats (8-7, 4-2) who will play their first road game of the season on Tuesday at Newberry.
