KEY INNINGS
TOP 1 UNCP loaded the bases with its first four at-bats to set the table for Elijah Helton's two-run single to the gap in right field.
TOP 2 Zach Ghelfi and Bobby Dixon both reached via consecutive one-out singles, and the Braves loaded the bases by virtue of a costly error by the Trojans in the next at-bat. A sac fly to deep centerfield from Trevor Clemons moments later pushed the lead out to 3-0.
TOP 3 Elijah Helton reached on a fielding error to open the frame, and that opened the door to an 8-run inning for the visitors. Four different Braves registered at least one RBI in the frame, including Ethan Baucom who capped off the scoring melee with a grand slam to left field.
TOP 4 Bobby Dixon reached on a throwing error with one out, and Zach Ghelfi followed with a single to put two aboard for the Braves. Luke Jackson finished off the scoring opportunity with a two-run double to left field.
