BOT 2 Jeffrey Chandler singled to lead off the second inning for the hosts and eventually scored on a sacrifice fly from Elvin Rosa. Josh Senter's solo homer with the next at-bat stretched the lead out to 3-0.
TOP 3 River Ryan drew a two-out walk to get things going for the Braves who followed with consecutive singles, including a RBI knock from Luke Jackson, to get on the board. A costly error by the Crusaders yielded another run for the visitors, and Connor Grainger finished things off with a two-run single up the middle.
BOT 3 Utah Jones drew a two out walk, and North Greenville regained the lead moments later on Adam Sasser's two-run shot to right field.
BOT 5 Jared Williams (single) and Utah Jones both reached base with one out showing, and Adam Sasser padded the lead with a two-run triple to the gap in centerfield. Jeffrey Chandler's groundout in the next at-bat plated Sasser with the 8-4 lead for the hosts.
BOT 6 Jack Morris hit a one-out single and eventually moved to third base on a single from Jeremy Whitehead. A safety squeeze bunt brought Morris scampering home from third base and a single from Utah Jones, coupled with a costly throwing error, pushed two more runs across to push the lead out to 11-4.
TOP 7 Trevor Clemons reached on a throwing error to spark a two-out rally for the Black & Gold. The Braves followed that North Greenville miscue with three-straight singles, including a two-run knock from Luke Jackson, to whittle their deficit back to four runs.
