PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday afternoon that they have partnered with The Commons at Pembroke LLC and The View at Pembroke that tabs the two properties as The Official Off-Campus Housing Complexes of UNCP Athletics.
 
"Partnering with UNCP Athletics was a simple conclusion – yes!" said Lance Carter, president of Phoenix Management Group. "Not only is this partnership mutually beneficial, but we are ecstatic to strengthen our relationship with the University and the students through this agreement. This relationship will allow us to not only make a positive impact on our residents, but also on the University and the community as a whole. We look forward to continuing to build rapports and creating an epic lifestyle for the students of UNCP through our aligned efforts."
 
Under terms of the multi-year relationship, both properties will serve as the presenting partners of UNCP Football's Parents & Families game, and will be featured across a multitude of department channels as well. Those channels include a social media branding campaign entitled "To The House" that will be featured prominently in both Grace P. Johnson Stadium on game days, as well as on UNCP Sports Network football broadcasts.
 
"We are very excited about the efforts to solidify our official off-campus housing provider with The Commons and The View," said athletics director Dick Christy. "Under Jack Slavin's leadership, I know that this partnership will add value for our students who attend games, as well as enhance the goals of our corporate partner."
