Cameron Stevens Named Director Of Compliance

September 10, 2026

PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials at UNC Pembroke announced that Cameron Stevens has been named as the Director of Compliance.

Stevens comes to Pembroke after spending one year as a Compliance & Administration intern at Middle Georgia State University, where he assisted with compliance operations, including eligibility certification, roster verification, and student-athlete documentation review.

Prior to Middle Georgia State, Stevens spent time in the compliance offices at Mercer and Georgia College, while also spending time as a football operations assistant for Georgia.

"We are lucky to be able to add Cameron to our athletics staff," said Christina Chow, Sr. Associate AD / Compliance & Student Services. "He comes to us with both Division I and II game day operations and NCAA compliance experience. Cameron came highly recommended from many of my contacts in Division II. I really look forward to working with him and believe he will be a great asset to our student-athletes, coaches and staff!"

Stevens attended North Georgia and graduated with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology while also working as a game day operations student worker and earning the Golden Night Hawk Award for Noble Service, before earning both a bachelor's degree in sports management and a master's degree in sports management & policy from the University of Georgia.

"I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the UNC Pembroke athletics departments as the Director of Compliance," said Stevens. "UNCP is a special place with a strong commitment to its student-athletes, and I look forward to working with our coaches, staff, and student-athletes to support their success both on and off the field. I am thankful to Christina Chow and the entire athletics department for the opportunity to be a part of the Braves family, and I am excited for what's ahead. Go Braves!"
