PEMBROKE – Saturday's regularly scheduled home football matchup between UNC Pembroke and Frostburg State has been shifted to Thursday at 4 p.m. due to the expected residual effects from Hurricane Ian, athletics department officials from both institutions announced Tuesday.
 
All gates at Grace P. Johnson Stadium will open at 2:30 p.m., and tickets issued for Saturday will be honored on Thursday afternoon as well. Information regarding other UNC Pembroke athletics events scheduled for this weekend will be announced as that information becomes available.

The Braves Club Hospitality Tent will be closed for Thursday's game due to unfavorable wind conditions. The hospitality tent will return for normal operations for UNCP's home game with West Virginia State on October 13.
 
University officials are continuing to monitor the movements of Hurricane Ian. Should weather conditions or other factors that impact game day operations change, the University will make adjustments accordingly.
