GREENVILLE, S.C. – Good news continued for the UNC Pembroke volleyball team on Tuesday when junior Abby Peduzzi and senior McKenna Hayes were named to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference team, league officials announced. 

The announcement marked the sixth time that the program has sent multiple players to the all-conference team. It was the second consecutive nod for Peduzzi and the first for Hayes. 
 
A native of Hilton Head, S.C., Peduzzi was named to the first-team all-conference list for the second season after hitting .195 from the net with a team-high 358 kills during the regular season. The everyday starter for the Black & Gold also tallied 50 service aces and 34 total blocks during the regular season. Peduzzi scored a team-high 429.0 points as well during the season.
 
Hayes was named to the third-team all-conference list after hitting .230 from the net during the regular season. A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., Hayes logged 185 kills and a team-high 69 total blocks during the regular season. The senior finished the regular season with double-digit kills in six different matches.
