PEMBROKE – The UNC Pembroke women's basketball team make trek to Elizabeth City State for a non-conference contest on Monday. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. inside the R.L. Vaughan Center.

Monday will mark just the third time the two teams have met. UNC Pembroke has won both contests, including a 68-53 victory on Dec. 14 in Pembroke.

UNC Pembroke
UNC Pembroke suffered an 82-59 setback against Barton on Tuesday. The Braves shot 42.6 percent from the floor, but allowed the Bulldogs to score 48 points in the paint.  UNCP averages 62.4 points per game and is shooting 40.2 percent from the field. However, opponents are averaging 73.8 points per game and are shooting 42.9 percent from the floor. Opponents average 41.8 rebounds per game while the Black & Gold are limited to 35.2 boards per contest. Keziyah Sanders is averaging 8.6 points per game and scored a team-high 16 points against Barton on Tuesday.
Elizabeth City State
Elizabeth City State heads into Monday's contest following an 89-59 victory against Converse on Saturday. The Vikings shot 53.4 percent from the field and scored 34 points from its bench. ECSU averages 64.3 points per game and is shooting 43.8 percent from the field. However, opponents average 76.8 points per contest and are shooting 48.3 percent from the floor. The Vikings average 20.5 turnovers per game and allow opponents to score 22.0 points from those turnovers. Kailyn Young came off of the bench during Saturday's victory and scored a game-high 19 points on a 7-for-13 shooting performance. Young averages 12.3 points per game and averages 24.3 minutes per contest.
