WINGATE, N.C. – Kelvin Kibet logged an 18th-place finish to help lead the men's cross country team to a sixth-place finish in NCAA Southeast Regional action Saturday morning at the Wingate XC Facility.

Kibet covered the 10K course in 32:29.03, with Ryan Ibarra taking 27th at 33:06.16, and Ed Carney finishing 33rd with a time of 33:14.19. Antony Kigen (33:49.46) was 44th, Conrad Robertson (34:59.76) took 78th, Payden Lewis (35:35.31) crossed in 93rd, with Will Clancey (36:14.23) taking 112th to round out the men's finishers. The squad tallied 195 team points to finish sixth.

Sofia Skidmore was the top UNCP finisher in the women's 6K race, taking 88th with a time of 24:58.21, with Jana Termos crossing in 93rd with a personal-best 25:03.80. Devyn Soles took 165th with a time of 29:59.01. The women's squad did not log a team score.
