Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 WINGATE – The UNC Pembroke volleyball team tallied 12 service aces and logged nine blocks on the way to a 3-2 (25-17, 25-18, 21-25, 17-25, 15-10) victory over Lewis in the Bulldog Invitational inside Cuddy Arena on Friday. 
 
UNCP then battled Coker in the final match of the Bulldogs Invitational, but the Cobras hit .237 from the net and tallied seven blocks to defeat the Braves 3-2 (25-17, 25-18, 21-25, 17-25, 15-10) during the contest.

SET 1 I 25-17	Emily Collings had a notable serving run, contributing to a 5-0 streak that included two attack errors by Lewis's Mary Zielinski. Despite the Flyers' attempts to close the gap, including a service ace by Kaileigh Krawiec and several kills by Lauren Buxton and Sarah Newberry, their efforts were marred by service errors and attack errors. UNCP capitalized on effective blocking, particularly by Addie Decker, which helped maintained the lead and securing the set.
SET 2 I 25-18	A kill from Savannah Whaley tied the score at 6-6 after a kill by Savannah Whaley and a service ace by McKenna Hayes gave the Braves a slight edge. The Flyers managed to reclaim the lead, 12-10, after consecutive attack errors from the Braves. The Braves rallied to regain control, capitalizing on multiple attack errors by Lewis and a service ace by Emily Collings, which contributed to a 20-16 lead. Abby Peduzzi's consecutive service aces further cemented the lead, and Alexandria Mills delivered the final kill to give UNCP a two set lead.
SET 3 I 21-25	UNC Pembroke took an early lead, thanks to a block by Kaitlyn Koel and Alexandria Mills. However, the teams traded service errors, keeping the score tight. Lewis built a three-point lead to 11-8, but the Braves managed to cut the deficit to one point at 18-17 with a kill from Alexandria Mills. Despite the run, Lewis pulled ahead with a final kill by Ann-Kelly Velikov from Kaileigh Krawiec.
SET 4 I 17-25	UNC Pembroke used kills from Abby Peduzzi and McKenna Hayes to take a 3-1 lead, but Lewis then closed the gap with a series of plays, including a kill by Lauren Buxton, tying the score at 4-4. UNC Pembroke seized momentum with consecutive service aces by Abby Peduzzi, extending their lead to 7-4. However, Lewis regained control with a series of successful plays and held a 13-10 lead after a kill by Emma O'Neill. Lewis continued to pull away, extending their lead to 18-11 after a series of attack errors and blocks against UNC Pembroke. Despite a late push by the Braves, Lewis maintained their lead, and with a final kill by Sarah Newberry sent the match to a deciding fifth set.
SET 5 I 15-10	UNC Pembroke jumped to an early lead with Tyler Patterson serving back-to-back aces, putting them up 2-0, but Lewis evened the score at 2-2 moments later. The Braves responded with a 3-0 run, including a service ace by Savannah Whaley, to lead 5-2. The Black & Gold continued to hold onto the lead and used a kill from Kaitlyn Koel to end the match.

SET 1 I 25-21	Coker took an early lead with a kill by Cayla Gilmore, but UNC Pembroke quickly evened the score with a kill by Kaitlyn Koel. A service ace by Emily Collings at 3-3 helped the Braves take the lead, but Coker fought back to tie the game at 7-7. The Braves extended their lead to 19-15, but UNC Pembroke's consistency in the latter part of the set, capped off by a decisive kill from Alexandria Mills to help the Black & Gold to the opening set.
SET 2 I 23-25	The Braves built a small lead, reaching 11-7, thanks to a series of kills by Caterina Coronelli and Emily Collings. However, Coker responded with a strong run, fueled by Addie Bittner's consistent scoring, to regain the lead at 16-13. Coker fended off a late run from UNCP to take the second set.
SET 3 I 25-19	Kaitlyn Koel got the set started with a kill, followed by a Brette Doile service ace, contributing to an early 4-0 lead for the Braves. Coker responded with a streak, closing the gap to 5-4 after an attack error by the Braves and a service ace by Meadow Morse. Abby Peduzzi and Kaitlyn Koel both logged a pair of key kills to extend the UNCP lead to 9-4. Coker mounted a brief comeback, narrowing the score to 17-14, but the Braves capitalized on a service error and maintained their lead, eventually closing the set 25-19 after another service error from Coker.
SET 4 I 21-25	Coker managed to seize early momentum with a series of successful plays, including a service ace by Alyssa Carey at 9-4. The Braves picked up a kill from Deorri Gaines to cut the deficit back to 20-21, but the Cobras held on to send the match to a deciding fifth set.
SET 5 I 11-15	The Braves initially took the lead with Addie Decker's kill, but Coker responded by capitalizing on UNC Pembroke's attack errors. At 6-6, the score remained close until Coker's went on a run  that included a kill by Cayla Gilmore and a service ace, bringing the score to 11-6.
