PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's cross country's Malea Bennewitz and football's Tre Robinson have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on September 7, 2025.

Bennewitz placed ninth overall in the season opener at the Converse Kick Off. The junior was the top runner for the Braves, covering the 5K course in a personal-best time of 19:37.0. 

Robinson completed 13 of his 20 pass attempts during Saturday's victory over Fayetteville State in the Two Rivers Classic. The Charlotte native threw for a trio of touchdowns and 234 yards. He also ran the ball eight times for 20-yards.
