GAFFNEY, S.C. – Sophomore
Nick Daggett turned in a dominant performance at 125 pounds to give the 10
th-ranked UNC Pembroke wrestling team an early advantage, but Limestone followed with wins in seven of the final nine bouts of the night to pick up a 26-13 upset victory over the Braves on Thursday in the Timken Center.
It was the third loss in the last four outings for the Braves (4-5) who will close out the home portion of their 2018-19 schedule against Queens (0-13) at Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court. It was the fifth-straight win for the Saints (5-6) who improved to 5-1 all-time against UNCP in Gaffney.
