MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – Freshman Toni Blackwell carded a 10-over-par 82 in the final round of action to finish tied for 20^th place on the individual leaderboard and help pace the UNC Pembroke golf team to a seventh place finish at the Limestone-hosted Low Tide Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon at the Dunes West Golf and River Club.
 
A native of Fayetteville, Blackwell (+17) finished 12 strokes behind the individual champion, Megan Sabol of North Georgia, who shot a three-round total 221.  Samantha DeBusk (+21) shot a team-best 78 in the final round to finish in a three-way tie for 30^th place. Georgia Page (+27) finished in a two-way tie for 42^nd place, while Amanda Hamrin (+28) shot an 83 in the final round to finish in a tie for 44^th place. Elizabeth Ritchie (+30) rounded out the scoring for the Braves finishing tied for 51^st place.
 
The Braves will get a two week break before returning to action on March 29 for the Bearcat Invitational. The two-day tournament will take place in Greenwood, S.C. at The Links At Stoney Point.
