SALISBURY -  Catherine DeSiena carded a 16-over-par through the first two rounds of action at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational to position the UNC Pembroke golf team in eighth place on Monday at the Country Club of Salisbury. 

DeSiena (+16) is in sole possession of 16th place and sits 12 strokes behind Mary-Paige King of Catawba, who leads the individual tournament with a two-round total of 146. Marta Ortega (+17) is in a three-way tie for 17th place, while Ella Woo (+24) is among a four-way tie for 33rd place. Maya Fitzgerald (+28) is in a four-way tie for 41st place after two rounds, while Melissa Guerra Landa (+32) rounded out the scoring for the Black & Gold in a tie for 48th place. 

Taylor Black (+19) who is playing as an individual, is in a three-way tie for 22nd place after two rounds.

The Braves will play the final round of the Catawba-hosted Patsy Rendleman Invitational on Tuesday at the Country Club of Salisbury.
