SALISBURY -  Catherine DeSiena carded a nine-over-par in the final round of action at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational to help the UNC Pembroke golf team finish tied for eighth place on Tuesday afternoon at the Country Club of Salisbury. 

DeSiena (+25) finished in a three-way tie for 15th place and 16 strokes behind Mary-Paige King of Catawba who won the individual tournament. Marta Ortega (+32) finished in a tie for 25th place, while Maya Fitzgerald (+36) made a jump on the leaderboard and finished in a tie for 30th place. Ella Woo (+39) finished in a three-way tie for 34th place, while Melissa Guerra Landa (+48) rounded out the scoring in in tie for 48th place. 

Taylor Black (+37) who played as an individual, finished the three rounds in a tie for 32nd place. 

The Braves will now turn their attention to the Conference Carolinas Tournament set to begin on April 12. The three-day tournament will be played at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, S.C.
