GREENWOOD, S.C. – Amanda Hamrin shot a one-over-par 73 in the final round of action to put her in a tie for 32^nd place on the individual leaderboard and help guide the UNC Pembroke golf team to a 12^th place finish at the Lady Bearcat Invitational at the Links at Stoney Point.
 
Hamrin (+7) shot a team-low 73 in the second round and finished 10 strokes behind individual champion Lena Schilowsky (-3) of Limestone. Newcomers Georgia Page (+11) and Toni Blackwell (+11) finished the two-day tournament among a tie for 47^th place, while Madison Deese (+20) climbed up the leaderboard for an 89^th place finish. Samantha DeBusk (+23) rounded out the scoring for the Braves in a tie for 97^th place. 
 
The Braves will take a break from action before returning to the course for the Peach Belt Conference Championships on April 16. The championship will be held at the Slammer & Squire Golf Course in St. Augustine, Fla.
