BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – A record-breaking performance from Sincere Baines during UNC Pembroke football's 68-21 victory over Concord in the season finale on Saturday has helped Baines to the Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league announced Monday.
 
A true freshman, Baines carried the ball 21 times for 178 yards and five touchdowns. The Fayetteville native also caught four passes for 76 yards. The five touchdown performance from Baines broke the school record for most rushing touchdowns in a single game. 

Baines finished the season 797 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 15 passes for 207 yards and one touchdown. Baines ranked fourth in the conference for average yards per carry and ranks first in the nation for most yards per carry.
