PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that volleyball's Katie Pressley and football's Sean Hill have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on September 24, 2023. 
  
A native of Indian Trail, Pressley played in all three matches last week while logging 63 assists. The senior recorded a double-double at Southern Wesleyan on Saturday with 33 assists and 12 digs. Pressley also tallied her 2,000th career assist on Friday at North Greenville. 
 
A force on defense, Hill recorded six tackles, five of which were solo tackles. The Mooresville native had one tackle for a loss of three yards and one fumble recovery for five yards. Hill's performance during Saturday's victory was highlighted by an interception that he ran back for a 54-yard touchdown.
