ST. SIMONS, Ga. -  Catherine DeSiena carded a team-best four-over-par in the final round of action at the St. Simons Intercollegiate as the UNC Pembroke golf team placed 17th in Lincoln Memorial-hosted tournament at the King and Prince Golf Resort.

DeSiena (+14) finished in a five-way tie for 38th place and 21 strokes behind Amely Bochaton of Wingate who won the individual tournament at seven-under-par. Ella Reed (+28) logged her best round of the tournament with a five-over-par to finish in a three-way tie for 77th place, along with Melissa Guerra Landa (+28) who also finished tied for 77th place. Taylor Black (+35) rounded out the scoring for the Braves and finished the three-round tournament in 87th place. 

Lauren Locklear (+41) finished in a three-way tie for 91st place.   
 
The Braves will play their final fall tournament on October 27 in the Converse Fall Invite. The two-day tournament will be played at the Woodfin Ridge Golf Club in Inman, S.C.
