PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that volleyball's Addie Decker and football's Donovan Woods have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on September 14, 2025.

Decker tallied 41 kills at the UNCP Invitational over the weekend and hit .245 from the net. The redshirt freshman's weekend was highlighted by hitting .529 from the net against Albany State to go along with a career-high 21 kills. Decker added six digs, four block assists and one solo block. 

A native of Charlotte, Woods was instrumental in the UNCP defense on Saturday on the way to a 25-21 victory over No. 16 Delta State. Woods finished the contest with four tackles and a pair of interceptions, one of which was on the Delta State goal line. He also broke up one pass.
