PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's cross country's Jana Zett and football's Josh Ehrlich have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on October 25, 2026.

A native of Landshut, Germany, Zett placed 17th at the UAH Charger Invite. The freshman was the top finisher for the Black & Gold and broke the school record crossing the finish line in a time of 21:18.1.

A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Ehrlich guided the Black & Gold to a 38-21 victory over Chowan on Saturday. Ehrlich completed 18 of his 21 passing attempts for 229 yards and threw for three touchdowns, while also adding a career-high 136 yards rushing with one touchdown. It is the fourth consecutive game that Ehrlich has registered at least four touchdowns.
