Football Hosts Erskine Saturday For Education & Service Day Presented By Scotland Health

PEMBROKE – The UNC Pembroke football team will host Erskine on Saturday for a Conference Carolinas contest as part of Education and Service Day presented by Scotland Health. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Grace P. Johnson Stadium. 
 
The Braves (4-2, 1-1 CC) enter Saturday's game following a 42-41 setback against No. 17 North Greenville last weekend. The Flying Fleet (2-3, 0-1 CC) have lost their last three games, including a 56-0 setback at No. 16 Valdosta State last weekend.  
 
Saturday's conference contest will mark just the second time the two teams have met. UNCP defeated EC 44-7 in the lone meeting on Oct. 4, 2025.

WHAT TO KNOW
Braves Club Hospitality: The Braves Club hospitality tent will be located inside the stadium, giving members exclusive access to view pregame warmups while enjoying conversation, food, and drinks. The hospitality tent will open 30 minutes prior to kickoff and remain open throughout the whole game for guests.

Ticket Deal: We are excited to welcome educators and service members to the game this weekend. Fans can purchase a discounted Main Grandstand Ticket using the code EDUCATOR. 
 
Parking: Parking in Lot 14 (across from Grace P. Johnson Stadium) is available for $5 for students, and $5 for the general public. Ushers will be available at both entrances to collect payment, as well as answer questions. Space in the parking lots adjacent to the stadium and Caton Fieldhouse are open to passholders only. Fans attending the 2 p.m. volleyball match planning to park in Lot 14 will be required to pay $5.

Tailgating: Fans may tailgate beginning at 8:30 a.m. Complete tailgating policies can be accessed by visiting this page.


Clear Bag Policy: Fans entering Grace P. Johnson Stadium will be asked to have a clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". All bags are subject to be searched upon entry. 
 
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Teacher of the Year Honorees: UNCP Athletics and the UNC Pembroke School of Education are excited to celebrate local Teachers and Administrators of the Year after the first quarter on Saturday.

Coin Toss: Dr. Adell Baldwin, Superintendent of Scotland County Schools, will join the team captains for coin toss prior to the start of the game.


Game Ball Delivery: Dr. Tracy Mulvaney, Dean of UNC Pembroke School of Education, will deliver Saturday's game ball. 


Sunglasses Giveaway: Thanks to our partners at Scotland Health, the first 500 fans will receive a pair of UNCP sunglasses.
