MT. PLEASANT, S.C. -  The UNC Pembroke golf team kicked off its spring season on Monday at the LR Dunes West Women's Intercollegiate and are in 14th place after the opening round. 

Due to darkness, the second round was not able to be completed. The teams will complete the second round tomorrow morning and then begin the third round immediately after. 

Catherine DeSiena carded a six over par 78 in the opening round and is in a three-way tie for 12th place, while Marta Ortega (+14) is in a four-way tie for 60th place. Maya Fitzgerald (+13) is in a tie for 75th place, while Ella Woo (+16) rounded out the scoring in a tie for 78th place. 

Taylor Black (+19) is in 85th place after the first round, while Melissa Guerra Landa (+15), who is playing as an individual is in 77th place. 



The following standings reflect a completed first round and scores that have been inputted second round at the point when play was suspended.
