GREENVILLE, S.C. – Kasen McCawley capped off a historic weekend by being named Conference Carolinas Pitcher of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

The senior hurled the first UNC Pembroke no-hitter since 2022 — and the first solo no-hitter since 2009 — in Game 2 of the series against Shorter, striking out ten to go along with no walks.

McCawley (8-1) leads Conference Carolinas in wins, and is one of just three pitchers in Division II with eight wins.
 
McCawley and the Braves will be back in action later today, as they head south to take on USC Aiken. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
