GREENVILLE, S.C. – After averaging a double-double across three games last week, Abby Peduzzi has been named as the Conference Carolinas Player of the Week presented by Athletic Solutions, league officials announced Monday afternoon. 

A native of Hilton Head, S.C., Peduzzi averaged 18.0 kills and 18.3 digs during last week's competition and hit .300 on the week. The junior started the week with 18 kills and 13 digs at Francis Marion, followed by 18 kills and a career-high 26 digs against Chowan. Peduzzi closed out the week with 18 kills and 16 digs against Ferrum where she registered her 1,000th career kill. 

Peduzzi has scored 414.0 points this season and is averaging 3.03 kills per set.
