PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that volleyball's Emily Collings and football's Marquis Raspberry have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on September 21, 2025.

A native of Jacksonville, Fla., Collings logged a double-double in a pair of conference victories over the week. The sophomore averaged 22.5 assists and 10.5 digs during the contests. Collings posted a career-high 25 assists against Belmont Abbey on Saturday and helped seal the match with a block assist on match point. 

Raspberry tallied six tackles during Saturday's conference opener against Ferrum. The redshirt junior had 2.5 tackles for a loss of 19 yards and logged 1.5 sacks for a loss of 13 yards. Raspberry forced one fumble, broke up one pass and had one quarterback hurry.
