PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that soccer's Mercy Bell and football's Justin Foreman have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on October 19, 2025.

A native of Jacksonville, Bell scored a pair of goals against Belmont Abbey on Saturday to tie for the program's all-time goal scorer with 44 career goals. The senior played all 90 minutes of both contests last week and had eight shots, five of which were on target. 

A native of Greenville, Foreman finished Saturday's game at North Greenville with three tackles and one pass breakup. The redshirt junior intercepted a pass and returned it 28-yards.
