PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that soccer's Mercy Bell and football's Isi Etute have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on November 2, 2025.

A product of White Oak High School, Bell helped the Braves to a pair of victories over the week to close out the regular season. The senior broke the school record for most career goals on Saturday with her 45th goal in the third minute of the victory over Barton.

A native of Norfolk, Va., Etute finished Saturday's game anchoring the UNCP defense with seven tackles, five of which were solo tackles. The redshirt had 3.5 tackles for a loss of nine yards and had a pair of sacks for a loss of six yards. Etute forced two fumbles and had two quarterback hurries as well.
