PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's basketball's Keziyah Sanders and men's basketball's Moe Bangura have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on November 30, 2025.

A native of Sumter, S.C., Sanders scored a career-high 16 points against Barton on Tuesday. The sophomore played 35 minutes and dished out a pair of assists, had three steals and one rebound.  

Bangura shot 62.5 percent over the week and averaged 15.0 points and 4.0 rebounds. The Lorton, Va., native's week was highlighted with 17 points against Barton on Tuesday. Bangura also added two blocks and two steals for the week as well.
