PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's basketball's Grace Ikenegbu and men's basketball's Demar Anderson have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on December 21, 2025.

A native of Anderson, S.C., Ikenegbu came off the bench in a pair of contests last week to average 10.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. The junior started the week with 10 rebounds and six points against Ferrum and closed out the week with a career-high 15 points at Flagler to go along with nine rebounds. Ikenegbu shot 47 percent from the field and finished the week with six steals and one assist.

Anderson came off the bench during Tuesday's victory against Ferrum to registered a career-high 14 points. The Charlotte native went 3-for-6 from the perimeter and made good on 5-of-6 free throw attempts. The redshirt senior also pulled down three rebounds in 20 minutes of work.
