PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's basketball's Aniah McManus and baseball's Andrew Jenner have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on February 4, 2024. 
  
A native of Winston-Salem, McManus helped the Black & Gold to a perfect 2-0 week with a pair of key Conference Carolinas victories. The senior started in both games and had a dominating performance on the road at Emmanuel with a career-high nine assists. McManus recorded eight points on a 3-for-6 shooting performance, while also pulling down six rebounds. The nine rebounds matches the most in a single game this season for Conference Carolinas.  
 
A product of Coral Springs, Fla., Jenner started in all three games on the road at USC Aiken and hit .385 from the plate. The senior tallied five hits in 13 plate appearances with a pair of doubles. Jenner drove in four runs and finished the weekend with a .538 slugging percentage. He also drew a walk and reached base after being hit twice on the weekend.
