PEMBROKE – Athletics department officials from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke announced on Monday morning that women's basketball's Anastasia Sinclair and men's basketball's Bradlee Haskell have been named the Scotland Health Care System Braves of the Week for the week ending on February 9, 2025.

A product of South Mecklenburg High School, Sinclair averaged 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. The sophomore started the week with 14 points against Francis Marion along with six rebounds and two assists. Sinclair closed out the week with 17 points at Young Harris to go along with seven rebounds, one assist and one steal. 

A native of Southern Pines, Haskell started in all three games last week and averaged 21.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. The senior started the week with 21 points against Francis Marion, followed by an 18-point showing against Virginia State. Haskell finished the week with 26 points at Young Harris, along with seven assists and five rebounds. Haskell went 14-for-22 from the perimeter over the three games last week.
